Join us at Busch Stadium |  | Pujols is back! Watch him, Yadi, and Waino in their final season at Busch Stadium. Join us for Lutheran Days at the Ballpark on Sunday, May 1 at 1:15 p.m. for the Cardinals vs. Diamondbacks game. Sit with other alumni, and enjoy the view from the left field loge. Tickets are $25 each ($58 face value) and can be picked up at Lutheran North beginning April 25.The first 10,000 fans ages 15 and under will receive a free Cardinal fleece blanket. St. Louis Police Chief John Hayden was awarded the NAACP Medgar Wiley Evers Medal of Freedom Award. Hayden, LN '81, has served as the St. Louis City Police Chief since 2017. He announced in September his intention to retire in February but has said he will remain with the force until his replacement is found. | | Aqeel Glass, LN '17, has been named the Black College Football Player of the Year for the second year in a row! Aqeel dominated the 2021 season with 3,568 passing yards, 36 touchdowns and averaged 356.8 yards per game.

Congratulations to defensive tackle, Renell Wren! Wren played for the Cincinnati Bengals in Superbowl LVI against the Los Angeles Rams on February 13, 2022. After the Superbowl, the Philadelphia Eagles signed Wren to their active roster. |  |
Adam Hollmann, LN ‘18, received the Mizzou ‘39 Award, which recognizes 39 outstanding students from the university's entire senior class who are chosen for their academic achievement, as well as leadership and service to Mizzou and the community. Upon graduation, Adam will be moving to Boston to work as a Growth Analyst for Procter & Gamble.

STUDENT ACCOLADES Caldra Williford, LN '22, has been named one of the Top 25 football players in St. Louis by the National Football Foundation. Caldra has committed to play at Murray State this fall. |  |
Jake Laesch, Catharyn Ryden and Shayla Fackler are headed to the State Solo Competition after scoring the highest rating possible at the MSHSAA District Solo Festival. Jake played the euphonium, Catharyn performed on the baritone sax, and Shayla played the piano. The Crusader musicians will compete at Mizzou next month. |  |
| We inducted 20 new members into the Crusader chapter of the National Honor Society, almost doubling the size of the esteemed group. These students not only excel academically but have shown the ability to lead and serve in the school and community. | Team Nexus, Lutheran North's robotics team, finished strong at state coming in 32nd out of 168 teams in the Missouri/Kansas district of FIRST Tech Challenge. The 2021-2022 season named Freight Frenzy, included a trip to Rolla to compete in six matches on the campus of Missouri S&T. | The Crusader football schedule is out! Make plans to join us for a game. Save the Date for Homecoming on Friday, September 16. All alumni are invited to cheer on the Crusaders as they take on the Wildcats from Westminster Christian Academy.
