HOMECOMING: Lutheran North welcomed back nearly 100 alumni to this year’s Alumni Tent at the Homecoming game against MICDS on October 1. We additionally welcomed former teachers back to campus for a Homecoming reunion. Between these esteemed educators, they span 58 years of service to Lutheran North. From theology to calculus, these teachers poured into our students with knowledge and love.

COACH MANION TRIBUTE:  Members of the Manion family, former coaches, and players joined us at LaMothe Field to pay tribute to one of North's most revered coaches, Jim Manion. Coach Manion was called to his eternal home in heaven last November. He was the first and only Crusader graduate to coach a State Championship team. His 1999 team defeated St. Pius Kansas City, and he was selected as the Post-Dispatch Coach of the Year. Jim was inducted into the St. Louis Metro Football Coaches Hall of Fame in 2009. Nine of his last ten years of coaching football at North, the Crusaders qualified for the state playoffs. Jim coached 37 years with 20 years as head coach. His record as a Lutheran North head football coach was 102–42. His support of North and our community will be forever cherished.

PGA AT NORTH: It was a beautiful weekend of golf at Lutheran North with the PGA Tour Champions competing at Norwood Hills Country Club. Alumni and friends got a close-up view of John Daly and enjoyed cheering on Jack Nicklaus and Ozzie Smith versus Tom Watson and Craig Berube on Saturday, September 12.
Thank you to everyone who volunteered, attended and sponsored the event. The tournament was a great opportunity for our community and gave us a chance to showcase our school.
