Summer Camp 
Looking for a great experience for your kids this summer? At Lutheran North, you'll find athletics, enrichment, and education camps just right for your child.

For four consecutive fun-filled weeks, a variety of morning sessions and afternoon sessions are offered. 
 
Our camps run each day from 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. A supervised lunchtime is included between camps. If you are attending morning and afternoon camps in the same week, campers should bring their own lunch. (No food is available for purchase.) Register for camp here.
LN Night at the Ballpark 
Join us for Lutheran North Night at the Ballpark when the Cardinals take on the Cubs on Sunday, May 23 at 6:08 p.m. Limited tickets will be sold on a first-come-first-serve basis. 
 
Tickets are $35 (face value $47) in the Right Field Pavilion. 

Catch the annual North vs. South game on Saturday, May 1 at 3 p.m. in Busch Stadium. There is no fee to attend this game. Parking for the high school game is in Lot C off of 8th Street. Spectators will enter through Gate 2. Purchase Cardinals tickets here.

Campus and Alumni News:  
MENTORING STEM STUDENTS: Gary May, LN '81, chancellor of the University of California, Davis, will receive the 2021 Lifetime Mentor Award from the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
The award honors researchers who, for 25 years or more, have positively impacted the atmosphere of an institution by mentoring students who are underrepresented in STEM fields.

WALTER PAYTON AWARD: Aqeel Glass, LN '17 and quarterback for Alabama A&M, is among the 16 finalists for the Walter Payton Award, given annually to the top offensive player in the Football Championship Subdivision. Glass has thrown for 1,084 yards and 13 TDs, as the Bulldogs were off to a 4-0 start in the abbreviated spring season and clinched the Southwestern Athletic Conference East Division title. Glass seized the spotlight earlier this month when he lit up the scoreboard against Jackson State and new head coach Deion Sanders, putting up 440 yards in the air for 6 scores and running for a seventh.

LESA FUNDRAISER FEATURES LN ALUM: The Lutheran Elementary School Association welcomed Cafe Napoli owner and chef, Tony Pietoso, LN ‘72, to help raise money at its Cooking for Kids virtual fundraiser. Along with Chef Pietoso, Rachel Seiler, LN’13, performed live. Rachel is set to release her 2nd Single "Not Done Yet" in June. Follow her on social media @rachelseilermusic to hear the latest! 
 
BASKETBALL IS IN HIS BLOOD: Tony Irons, LN '02, won the state basketball championship, marking his fourth state title as Vashon's head coach. Irons played on the Crusaders' 2002 state championship team.

ALL-AMERICAN BOWL: Toriano Pride, a four-star defensive back and one of the top overall prospects from the state of Missouri has officially committed to the 2022 All-American Bowl. Pride will play in the annual East vs. West matchup on Saturday, January 8, 2022, in the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.
Only 100 football players receive the honor of putting on the All-American Bowl jersey each year. Lutheran North is proud to now hold three of those positions over the past years.

Chief Hayden on Campus 
St. Louis Police Chief John Hayden, LN ‘81, visited students in 7th grade English class. The class wrote letters to individuals in the community about causes they are passionate about. Chief Hayden joined us on campus to respond to letters written to him and to address topics ranging from gun laws to traffic stops.
